Sam, jinjer what "type" of vdi are you looking at? Is it session based ala RDS / TS or a full desktop based?

Would OpenVZ then be a suitable candidate for use in the creation and deployment of a VDI (VMWare definition) environment serving up Linux client desktops?

I have a c3000 enclosure with BL465's installed running it fine. Uses iSCSI on a DL360 with Openfiler.

As a matter of interest why would you not turn off an iSCSI storage system (assuming all "clients" are disconnected)? Kenny.
