No, once I created an automated backup this task doesn't removes old ones when proxmox raises to their max amount. I think it would be any better to add a checkbox in backup GUI called "Remove old backups" that will be add key "--remove 1" inside a task in vzdump.cron

I wonder why developers didn't add this checkbox to the WEB-interface. Maybe enterprise version has it?

Hello! I have a problem on all 25 servers with Proxmox. When I set "Failure notifications" to "Always" then I get letters in any case. But when it's set up to "On failure only" then I didn't get any letter neither when backup is done properly nor it's failed. Anyone knows what can I do with it...

It doesn't work. Old backups are not being deleted. This feature just defines max amount of dump files. I went in file vzdump.conf and added in every string that corresponds to backup record key "--remove 1". That works.

Now it works. I just reboot Proxmox. Seems it was just a bug. Thanks to everyone!
