I've done this now and removed my ipv6 configuration. At least one reboot I've tried so far I had working network with my interface up. Before en*** showed as UP but vmbr0 was DOWN.

Thanx Slanbuas for the info. Unfortunately I'm running EXT4 as my server has limited RAM resources (Home Server). If you'd guess, do you think changing to Debian kernel could be a fix?
I'm having the same issues. Converted from ESXi where I experienced not problems with drive speeds. If I copy a larger directory over ethernet the server reaches over 80% IO delay and becomes unresponsive. I'm using Seagate IronWolf 5900 rpm drives (180 MBps ).
