Unfortunately we never solved this. We created a new Server 2012R2 server on the same Proxmox host and migrated all Windows shares, users etc. and decommissioned the 2008 server.
When I start the move, it only shows the following process:
task UPID:proxmox05:00002F0C:40FF4B4C:5A018D66:qmmove:159:root@pam:
How can I limit this process? I don't see any qemu-nbd or port being used.
Else I will copy it from ZFS to ZFS server, however it will require the VM to be shut down...
Hi,
I tried migrate_speed: 2 (MBps) however it keeps taking 100-120 MBps so my network card is stull 1000Mbit in use during the move.

Hi,
We have a 6-node cluster, each connected with 2x1Gbit trunk to a 4x1Gbit trunk ZFS NFS server loaded with SSD's.
The disk IO on the ZFS server is really high, it has 12 SSD's in RAIDz2 (RAID6).
We have another ZFS SSD server, also connected with 4x1Gbit.
Now we want to migrate some disks...
Nothing new yet, we just stop/start the VM's that freeze.
We have multiple customers that have a local server. We install them stand-alone with Proxmox/ZFS and use local disk storage. These customers have no problems running a Terminal Server. We also have 1 server in our datacenter that runs 2...
We have no special NFS settings.
We installed Debian 8 with nfs-kernel-server, installed zfs on linux and did "zfs sharenfs=on data/proxmox".
Please let me know if I need to tweak something. We can try this on a third test server and check the results.
Hello,
We have a issue with out VM's for over 2 years now. We host multiple Terminal Servers within our Proxmox cluster. They are based on Server 2012 R2 with multiple user sessions and normal programs like Office.
Sometimes, these VM's randomly freeze. This happends only once in 2 or 3 month...
1 month later, the problem is still there. We've till the end of this month to come with a fix or we will have to migrate everything.
Anyone has some more tips? Here are the latest things we've tried:
- Disable BIOS powersave functions (performance profile, disable C-states)
- Removed any...
Hello,I

I don't have the original server anymore. We migrated the servers p2v to a test server. Once that worked fine (before we noticed the BSODs), we reinstalled the old server with Proxmox and migrated the VM's from the test server back to the original server (now virtualized). On our test server we...
Eventlog has nothing, everything works fine according to eventlog. No special devices, it was a simplex server. We allready removed all drivers/software of any third-party. It's just the default Windows software and on the APP server we have SAP Business.
There is no BSOD since the last change...
