Hyperthreading should be turned off on any Visualization server host regardless of OS being used. VMware even make a point of recommending it. Thats hardly something that can be blamed on Proxmox. Find a better example.
Quick test of RC1 using AD log on credentials (new group with administrator rights) all looks good with one exception. I cant open the host shell from the GUI. I get:

Do you have the HA tab for your datacenter? that's a good indicator that the machine is up to date at the moment.
I do a fresh build and full-upgrade before everything else to get the HA tab, at this point I've never had a problem adding an NFS share.
