Ok, for the time drift there's a lot of discussions on the forum: http://forum.proxmox.com/threads/6250-Windows-2011-SBS-Clock-lags-behind.
Anyway until today the time is still in sync, so I suppose that it was a problem of the version at the time I installed the system. Thanks.
Ok, is it an option restoring from the web interface or it must be done using the console? Do you know also what options to use with the updated kvm version to fix the time sync issue in 2008 r2 vm, previously done with the mentione args? Thanks a lot.
I'm sorry but I had to recover from this situation very fast because ca 20 users were angry and waiting to work on the vm! So I've restored the vm, without doing more tests (maybe for panic!) from a dump and commented out the args: -no-hpet -no-kvm-pit-reinjection, and it worked ( but how to...
I cannot start my sbs 2011 vm after rebooting the proxmox server!! I get this error when manually trying to start my vm:

The only fix that worked was to add in root .bashrc, this:
export LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 export LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8
I've tried:
dpkg-reconfigure locales
locale-gen
etc.
After installed some tool i get this annoying locale error. I've done this but when rebooting error comes back:
export LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8
export LANG=en_US.UTF-8
export LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8
locale-gen en_US.UTF-8
dpkg-reconfigure locales

Hello here are the tests. My proxmox is on a Fujitsu server with four nic, one is used for irmc (remote management like hp ilo), one is on firewall dmz for remote connection from outside configured as vmbr0, and the other two are bonded and configured as vmbr1 for guests.

Hello dear friend,
I'm testing with iperf in windows and linux. I've used virtio net and block in a previous proxmox 1.9 system without stability problem and now I'm trying to do the same on a proxmox 2.0 rc. So far no stability issue just testing performance. Here what I've tested so far...
Proxmox 2 rc updated, slow performance from win2k8r2 guest to host! Host (proxmox) to host (another physical host on the same giga switch) it's near 1gbit. Latest virtio net installed in guest virtio-win-0.1-22.iso, tried the registry hack (actually using netsh on win2k8) but without any...

Hello,
I formatted my USB HD configured as a backup destination, to XFS, and during the sbs install proxmox begun to report problem with the usb device. But probably because XFS filesystem is more stable fs than ext4, the kernel didn't panic but xfs just disconnected the device and the sbs...
Sorry, I see you looked at the panic image posted, for the ext4. But for the kvm image storage I use a raid5 LVM group, so no filesystem there because virtual hardisk are created as devices like this:
--- Logical volume ---
LV Name /dev/DATASTORAGE/vm-100-disk-2
VG Name...
Ok I'll try with to reformat my image lvm storage to xfs or ext3 and report back. But the win7 guest install worked with no trouble. The sbs install cause kernel panic during install always at the same point!
