Continuously increasing memory usage until oom-killer kill processes

Hi, sorry for the late response, was very busy the last month. Here's the output. Like I've mentioned before the problem exists since I've upgraded to version 7. 1. pveversion -v proxmox-ve: 7.2-1 (running kernel: 5.15.39-1-pve) pve-manager: 7.2-7 (running version: 7.2-7/d0dd0e85)...

Continuously increasing memory usage until oom-killer kill processes

The buffer/cache grows and grows while I‘m recording to the harddisk. When free = 0 the recording stops. The tmpfs doesn't increas the it's size, so I think it doesn't help to restrict it? free -m root@ct-tvh-02:~# free -m total used free shared buff/cache...

LXC and tvheadend - Continuity counter error

Still asking myself why nobody cares about the ram issues on containers. Yes, but doesn't simply deleting the caches have any deficits?

LXC and tvheadend - Continuity counter error

Thanks for the advice! Hmm, I don‘t think logs are the problem here… The buffer/cache grows and grows whole I‘m recording to the harddisk. When free = 0 the recording stops

I don't understand? How does this fix the memory issues, like this: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/lxc-and-tvheadend-continuity-counter-error.97726/#post-449299 The problem exists since Proxmox 7.0, Version 6.4.13 was fine.

The problem still exists with Proxmox 7.2.7... very frustrating...

LXC and tvheadend - Continuity counter error

Ok, i've made a test with Proxmox 6.4.13 now and the issue has gone away. I think I found the main problem for the memory issue. In 6.4.13 you can get the consumed resources, like cpu and memory (you can view with ltc-top). In 7.x all the stats are missing, ltc-top shows zero in every column.

LXC and tvheadend - Continuity counter error

Take a look at "free -m" and the "free" column, I made the observation that the memory of the LTX container can't free up the memory and when it arrives at 0, you'll get Continuity counter error. This is really disappointing. I tried everything but can't get it working. One (really crappy)...
