Hello,
And thanks for the support. It seems that problem was caused by intermittent high network latency and corosync was unable to sync correctly.
In order to resolve the problem we deployed a private network for the cluster. Then we configured the interfaces and changed...
Already checked the network part.
We are planning an update but this will take part when the cluster is back to its normal state.
Is there any way to manually sync the db between two nodes?
And also is there any way to manually kill this tasks - they are stuck forever an cant be stoped from the UI?
Hello and thanks for the replay.
I made sure the time was correct but when I started one of the nodes everything crashed once again.
Below is the syslog of one of the working nodes for few minutes before the crash.
Hello,
Today our cluster lost synchronization. Most of the nodes were shown as offline or unknown. The nodes were up but every node could see only itself and few other nodes.
Restarting the pve-cluster and corosync didn't help so we brought everything down and started them one by one.
For most...
Hello guys,
We have several hosts with directory type storage. Anyone tried to change it from directory to NFS? My idea is to start the NFS server on the node, configure the same directory to exports file and change the storage type from the GUI. (and by change I mean remove the existing and...
Hello,
Recently we noticed that the memory usage on several hosts is constantly growing on daily basis. After few checks it seems that some VMs are consuming way more memory that they are expected to. Stopping the VM and booting it back on or migrating temporary fixes the issue. Dropping cache...
Hello,
And thanks for the replies.
@fabian - Is there any way to avoid this? For example increasing the timeout or tune the NFS? I tried to fiddle with the NFS settings but still hit the issue. If the 60s timer is changed it will affect only cloning or all operations?
@Dominic - actually I hit...
Hello, I encountered an issue while trying to clone two (or more) VMs simultaneously between two nodes. Both nodes have NFS storage.
When I start cloning the VMs the first starts and the second one fails with: TASK ERROR: clone failed: error during cfs-locked 'nfs2' operation: got lock timeout...
Hello and thanks for the quick reply.
I've tried that but it also doesn't seem to work.
As soon as I put some special character like > or |the command no longer works.
Hello,
I'm trying to automate the VM management via scripts that will reconfigure sets of VMs. However I'm struggling with changing file content. Here's an example:
curl -sSk --header ${AUTH} -X POST --data-urlencode command="echo 1 > /path/to/file"...
Hello,
I'm experiencing huge performance drops using the cloud-init option. Starting the VM takes like +20 seconds more (the host is quite good).
Do you guys face any similar issues? Additionally cloning a VM from one node to another "invalidates" the image and the only way to get it working...
