Networking weirdness after distupgrade => 4.4

I just did a distupgrade to 4.4-13/7ea56165 which seems to work mostly OK except for this weirdness: 'apt-get update' got stuck (on two repositories) on a client, so I tried pinging the same servers from the host. Turns out, some (but not all) external servers are inaccessible some or all of...

    DHCP on external (wifi) NIC

I want to configure a server with a wifi nic which can only get an IP address thru DHCP. I've been searching for a day, but so far all I find is 'can't be done in Proxmox'.

Proxmox multi-node cluster with single IP (IPv4)

can't edit VM configuration in network tab

Sorry, no. And this is still the case for all my containers. I reinstalled those machines and have since been since been extra careful when setting IP addresses.

can't edit VM configuration in network tab

Hm. I'm root and that is the single user, so that shouldn't be it. Thanks for the pointer anyway, though. It led me to the pve2-api-doc which I hadn't seen yet.

can't edit VM configuration in network tab

can't seem to edit network configuration of any VM under the Network tab in the ProxMox web interface (i.e. select VM, select Network, select IP, press Edit). I could yesterday or the day before. Under what conditions is this enabled/disabled? Cheers
