    Restart Question

I didn't do any BIOS updates. The servers have been in place and running HA for the past 5 months with only a few hiccups. I will do some memtests to see how those perform. I will also check for BIOS and firmware updates to see how those help. I appreciate the help.

    Restart Question

The hardware was all new Dell Poweredge servers, and the Netgear 10GB switch recommended by the Proxmox wiki HA cluster setup. I have had some minor issues with nodes restarting, but they are preventable when I restart nodes manually periodically. I had asked the forum for help on these before...

    Restart Question

I use the watchdog fencing that was automatically setup with the HA Cluster 4.x. I followed the wiki and it seems to work. If it could work better, please give me some pointers. Thanks!

    Restart Question

I have a 3 node cluster running HA with 2 VM's. I have had them functioning as intended for the past week. On day 5 node1 restarted itself with no syslog entry. The VM running on node1 was automatically transfered to node 3. I wasn't sure if this was just an intended maintenance schedule or not...

    Failed to Receive

I have tried new cables, different NIC's and a different switch. I am still getting Retransmit List errors. I am at a loss on what to do next. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

    Failed to Receive

    Did some switch modification and ran omping again. SERVER1 server2 : unicast, xmt/rcv/%loss = 600/600/0%, min/avg/max/std-dev = 0.096/0.195/0.256/0.027 server2 : multicast, xmt/rcv/%loss = 600/600/0%, min/avg/max/std-dev = 0.100/0.200/0.258/0.027 server3 : unicast, xmt/rcv/%loss =...

    Failed to Receive

Also, I just upgraded to 4.3 hoping these errors would go away. Before the upgrade these omping commands worked with almost no loss. Now they don't work at all

    Failed to Receive

I am curious about my TOTEM errors. corosync spits the Retransmit List error multiple times a day and after each time TOTEM states that it FAILED TO RECEIVE . After this I have what looks like a new membership for the cluster being created and after a few seconds it seems to correct itself. Is...

    Node Restarts

I have some more information on this issue. I have tested the multicast and know that it is working. I followed the wiki multicast notes and tested everything it said. The omping 600 test completed on each of the three nodes with no dropped packets and it ran for around 10 minutes. In the...

    Node Restarts

I just noticed that the first two nodes of my cluster (server1, server2) have the same FCDN as our existing server. The old servers will be replaced with these new ones, but could that have something to do with the issues? Just throwing anything I can out there to see if helps. Thanks.

    Node Restarts

I don't really know what I am looking for in the syslog to indicate what caused the shutdown. There is a lot more stuff in the syslog on the two nodes running the VM's, but any hints on what to search for would be greatly appreciated. I installed a new switch that allows multicast. I am...

    Node Restarts

I have a 3 node cluster setup and 2 of the nodes have new VM running Windows Server 2008. Every few days the two nodes running the VMs will restart and bring the VMs back up, while the 3rd node stays up with no restarts. I am looking for any tips to check or keywords within logs files to find...
