I am wondering if there are any issues with eve4pve-autosnap on proxmox 5.4 ?
Would it interfear with any future upgrades of proxmox?
If the number of snapshots are too many would it slow down the vm? WOuld it affect the vzdump backup in any way?
Since Proxmox 5.0 /dev/mapper/pve-data isnt there. Then how do we gain access to vm-100-disk-1 etc? If I imported a vmdk file, then how do I use it to incorporate in proxmox? Earlier I could convert any disk format to proxmox compatible drive and incorporate it to a proxmox vm. How do I do it now?
I have windows server 2008 r2 virtualized (P2V).
Hard disk is scsci0 with qcow2.
Network is Virtio.
The Proxmox version is 5.2-1
It was working just fine for a few days. However, now it is not taking any characters on the NoNVC console. So I cannot login through the console. The RDP works.
In earlier version, the disks were found in /var/lib/vz/images
Where are they now? I have converted a Virtualbox vdi image to qcow2. I created a KVM VM with the same config as virtualbox. Now I want to replace the blank qcow2 disk with the VDI convrted qcow2 disk in the same location as...
So as I understand, I cannot use the drive where I had proxmox installed as ZFS because it is already in use.
So the question is that proxmox 5 can be installed on a small drive and use the other bigger drives for ZFS. Is this correct?
Also I wanted to know, what kind of drive you recommend to...
I have a cluster of 2 nodes and each node has only one drive.
After the upgrade from 4.4 to 5.0, I still have only one storage showing which is lvm.
How do I use the zfs for storage replication feature since I only have lvm.
How do I create a zpool on existing drive?
Thanks in advance.
Followed the upgrade process from 4.1 to 4.2, after update and dist-upgrade still on 4.1
The files in /boot directory are:
config-4.2.6-1-pve initrd.img-4.2.6-1-pve System.map-4.2.6-1-pve
efi memtest86+.bin vmlinuz-4.2.6-1-pve
First of all, you need to specify what is the version of proxmox 3.x or 4.x. Next you need to specify if they are both part of a cluster. If you have any NFS, iscsi etc share assigned to the cluster.
Corosync will sync the configs. I have not tried to share the local storage (By ticking the...
I made a big blunder while setting up a proxmox ve 4.1 2 node cluster.
the 2 host nodes hp1 and hp2

hp1 has 2 vm running. hp2 has no vm running
So on hp1 I created the cluster
hp1# pvecm create mycluster
Beofer running pvecm add ip, I changed the ip address of hp2...
