Currently I have my Proxmox installed in a (let's call it) host_A, and I need to migrate the whole installation (VMs, CTs and ZFS data storage) to another host (let's call it) host_B.
Host_B is another computer, with his own motherboard, CPU, memory and disks.
After this migration, host_A...
I installed Proxmox on a corporate environment in order to use it exclusively for managing containers (our VMs are already managed by VMWare...).
The network is working, but I realize that my containers stop to respond to external pings for long periods of time, but not when I'm pinging...
My Proxmox server is running on a Supermicro X11SSL-CF motherboard. It has 3 ethernet interfaces: 1 for IPMI and 2 regular ethernet interfaces for general use.
I have just one network/subnet (192.168.0.0/24), and I'm using only one NIC.
Is there some use for this second interface? And if...
I was using proxmox normally until i did a reboot and after that the installation seems completely broken.
The first sympton was the pve-manager, that wasn't listening on 8006 port. To summarize, that's the situation right now:

After using a bare metal Ubuntu for more than 6 years, I decided to use Proxmox and containers and I'm loving it. But, I realized recently that Plex...

What's the best (or the correct) way to backup some or all the ZFS data to these disks in the enclosure, using Proxmox native resources?
That's the second time I tried Proxmox. In the first time, some years ago, I remember that I quite not understood well what I was doing or what the Proxmox (PM) purpose was. Now I do.
Well, after installing PM, some containers, a VM (OpenMediaVault) and had struggling for more than 5 hours...
Successfully installed Proxmox some days ago and everything was running fine until today.
Out of the blue the web interface stopped to work. Through ssh I can see that nobody is listening on port 8006.
After 2 reboots and some "/etc/init.d/<whatever> restarts" I simply don't know what to...
Currently I have a home server with Ubuntu Server LTS 14.04.3. It has been running for about 2 year and a half.
I have a software RAID5 with 4 x 4TB disks ((11TB net disk space), whith 6.1TB of actual data.
I want to install a fresh new server under Proxmox, but I don't want (and I can't)...
