Nested virtualization also doesn't work anymore with kernel 5.15 unrelated to modern OS like Windows 11 or Server 2022, but also on rather dated OS like Windows 8.1 and XP running Microsoft Virtual PC inside it to run even older OS like Windows 95, 98, 2000 and the likes. This worked perfectly...
What type of CPU? It works on a Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2660 v2 at least, on
Linux 5.15.35-2-pve #1 SMP PVE 5.15.35-5 (Wed, 08 Jun 2022 15:02:51 +0200) x86_64 GNU/Linux.
I run a VM in Host CPU mode (E5-2650 v2), it does not complain about the CPU, but rather about the missing Secure Boot and TPM 2.0. Updating works well if I remove appraiserres.dll and appraiser.sdb from the source folder.
I hope Proxmox staff is now back from holidays ;) and will make a release supporting TPM 2.0 officially so Windows 11 RTM can be used on Proxmox as soon as it gets released.
As of Build 22458, Proxmox is unable to run Windows 11 VMs:

This solution might resolve the problem of PBS backups to external drives:

But a more integrated solution as said in the previous post is definitely a better option.
Hello,
I am using the latest PBS and Proxmox VE and with some backups I get a message qmp command 'query-backup' failed - got timeout at 99% of the backup:

Yes, I tried that, but it didn't help after getting a "device is already part of the pool" and "device is busy". I reinstalled PBS with a ZFS Raid10 but after a reboot, I got a Grub rescue shell. After finding out that Proxmox has problems with HP servers (this is a Microserver Gen8), I...
Hello,
I installed PBS Beta from the ISO (0.8.6) and updated to 0.8.9, but now one disk of my ZFS RaidZ2 is missing while not being actually removed (it worked before running apt update). I tried to re-add it but it says that the disk is already an active member of my pool:
