@spirit
It is configured with the non-subscription repository, but this has always been the case.
@alexskysilk
The upgrade I'm doing it directly from the GUI, as I've always done.
So I'm not trying to install some other package.
@Neobin
I'll do it later.
For the moment I thank everyone
I have attempted to upgrade to the Proxmox server which I haven't used for a few months.
When launching the updates, these error messages appear:
100 upgraded, 7 newly installed, 4 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 0 B/207 MB of archives.
After this operation, 54.5 MB disk space will be...
I have installed Proxmox Android App and now I would like to turn off Proxmox, but I cannot find an icon or a command to be able to do this.
I can't even find a way to log out of the app.
Are there no instructions?
After weeks that the problem does not arise, today I find myself with the VM (Debian 11 Server) going into Emergency Mode.
In the log I struggle to understand what could have gone wrong.
I entered the log for two VMs.
The 231100001 is the one that went as a block.
The 231100002 is a clone of his...
If I connect to the Proxmox server from a PC I see the summary in 4 panes, as in this screenshot.
If, instead, I connect from a second PC I see it as stacked boxes. However, I did not understand what option there is to view them in the first format, which is much more convenient.
On Proxmox I have several Linux VMs, mainly Debian 11.
Very often the VMs start in Emergency mode and I don't understand the reason.
Sometimes the problem is starting a VM; other times asking for its reboot from Proxmox; other times asking for its reboot from the command line or from its GUI...
The problem is "random" when installing Debian 11. With the ISOs of other Linux operating systems it never occurred.
Even changing the ISO the problem recurs. In any case, the ISO is downloaded with a URL and verified with its HASH, so it's certainly not a bad ISO problem.
I will do some more...
I am creating some VMs, others I have already created.
They are all configured in the same way.
The installation disc is the latest version of Debian 11.
All standard options, CPU with 2 sockets and 2 cores, Memory Min / max 512/2048, guest agent enabled.
Usually the first screen appears asking...

VM3 and VM4 are connected to vmbr2, but are accessible to eno1, through vmbr1.

I have to simulate a network where two offices are connected by an optical fiber, therefore a connection between a switch and a switch.
But it doesn't seem to me that in Proxmox it is possible to connect two bridges since only the bridge - NIC association is allowed
Does the hardware switch or network card need to have any special features?
My switch doesn't support LACP. To double the bandwidth and have a backup which option is preferable?
I have 4 NICs on motherboard and 2 NICs on PCIe card.
The 4 NICs are associated with bridges; the other two are unused.
I would like to use these remaining two to double the speed of the main two NICs (of group of 4 NICs) and as a backup should they fail.
Can this be done if they are already...
OK, ashift = 12.
Zpool created from command line.
Then in Datacenter/Storage I added the pool created with "Thin Provisioning" option.
Finally, I went into edit and changed the blocksize 64k
Is there a command to view the pool configuration to see if everything is fine?
What is the option in zpool to create blocksize = 64? and what value should ashift have?
With zpool create -f -o ashift=16 -o volblocksize=64K there is the error "property 'volblocksize' is not a valid pool property".
I have a zpool with three volumes in RAID-Z2, each with 7 disks.
I created the Zpool with volumes with the same number of disks.
This zpool is associated with a mirrored log and a cache, by NVMe.
I have two other unused HDDs and would like to create a new mirror pool.
Can I bind to this the...
I solved by removing both the gateways and the IP addresses of vmbr1 and vmbr2
Now I finally have no more interruptions and the VMs are still able to access the Internet.
Thank you all for your help and ... be patient with us novices. ;)
This is the final configuration.

VMs must be able to browse the Internet and connect to other VMs in another network segment.
For example VMs in the LAN segment must be able to connect to servers in DMZ2 and DMZ3.
This is the simplified representation of the network I am implementing.
A physical PC in the LAN must be able to connect to a Host Proxmox server in DMZ3.
Inside this server there are 3 virtual networks corresponding to the LAN, DMZ2 and DMZ3.
Obviously, the PCs in the LAN (whether physical or...
There are no more blocks if I remove the comments on vmbr3 and leave the comments on vmbr1.
On the other hand we need more bridges
My network is done like this:
1) Internet Router
2) Firewall that manages LAN and DMZ
3) There are 2 physical switches. One for the DMZ and one for the LAN.
