Thanks for the reply, and sorry for late reply from me.
Yes you are right we are facing more IO-delay while we copy the VM or While taking backup, we are not able to use the other running VM's i have to change that to RAID10
But still one thing i need to clear is,
If i extend the size of the...
Our Server has 4 no's of 10TB HDD and with RAID1 so 2 drives
My question is about creating the Storage for the VMs,
i have installed Proxmox in drive 1, which has local and local-lvm storage where local is given 100GB and 9.9TB for the local-lvm, where we keep VM's right now.
i need to add...
we have 2 Nodes
Node "t1" has 2 HDD (VDs) RAID1 and Node f1 has only 1 HDD (VD)
we have installed proxmox 4.4 in both the Nodes
In Server t1
VD1 has proxmox so it created local(t1) and local-lvm (t1)
VD2 is made anothe LVM thin and added with name maganet-hdd(t1)
in Server f1
VD1 has proxmox...
Thanks for reply
# lvresize --poolmetadatasize +10M saarvg/saarlv
Rounding pool metadata size to boundary between physical extents: 12.00 MiB
Extending logical volume saarlv_tmeta to 380.00 MiB.
Logical volume saarlv successfully resized
Still i can see 99.97%
# lvs -a
@dcsapak When this problem started and you said we have to increase the metadatapool, i just deleted the LVM and recreated
Not resized the metadatapool
After recreateing the LVM again
cat $(readlink -f /sys/dev/block/*/sda3/../queue/minimum_io_size)
cat $(readlink -f...
i have recreated VD in RAID controller
sgdisk -N 1 /dev/sdb
pvcreate --metadatasize 1G -y -ff /dev/sdb1
vgcreate saarvg /dev/sdb1
lvcreate -L 3.6T -T -n saarlv saarvg
These are command exactly i ran
then From GUI i added storage to the DataCenter as LVM-Thin
we have installed Proxmox VE 4.4 , RAID 1 10TB, enabled Cache
we need to move the VMs KVM based raw files from other server to Proxmox, so we have copied those VMs to External HDD and connected though USB3.0 and mounted to proxmox server.
we create the VMs though GUI and i start replaceing...
i have recreated the LV again with 1G metadata size
because i dont have any important VMs in it
