Hello @datschlatscher I have proxmox backup server running at another place without a separate root drive. The Data and the OS are on the same drive. I think atleast with ZFS there is an ability to set quota.
Any recommendations on which files to delete to free up space? This occurred with with a new remote which was supposed to be my remote backup server but became full. I ran garbage collection several times, but I need to wait 24 hours and 5 minutes for it to free up?
Any help would be much...
@fabian or anybody knowledgeable about this.
Is it possible to sync with two sources to the same location?
Local site A1, Remote site A2 and Remote site A3.
Will one complete the uncompleted syncs of the other or will it cause trouble?
Or what would be the best setup? A2 is offsite location. A3...
Thanks. Not sure if we're supposed to use our public IP as the static or the internal VCN one like 10.xx.xx.xx
Have you had success?
I tried the public one, but I could be entering the information incorrectly.
For my gateway I entered corresponding to my public IP
Did you get this working?
I managed to get Debian 11 latest with Arm64 installed with 24 Gig RAM 4x arm64 using their Ampere CPU.
When I start the apt install proxmox-ve
something seems to disconnect the network connection. I can access it using the cloud shell but no longer with SSH.
Hello @fabian yes the local onsite PBS did crash at one point but most likely it was after the 08-28 date. In September there was I/O errors because the disk was full, likely due to a failed backup and the /var/log filled up.
I have the third PBS syncing from both the local onsite PBS001 and...
@fabian This is the output.
Thank you for your time.

Thank you for your timely responses. I did not delete the corrupt snapshot in the original root directory.
I created a namespace as suggested and synced the group vm/107 there without any errors to the new namespace.
I'm trying to do that. This is the error I get
Task viewer: Snapshot store001:/vm/107/62F027D2 - Verification
2022-10-13T06:44:18-04:00: verify store001:vm/107/2022-08-07T21:00:02Z - manifest load error: unable to load blob...
I want to be safe. So if I have one error with a specific date on snapshot for vm 107 for example on the 9th of October. I can delete that from root and then go into the namespace and mv or cp from there to the root?
Okay I have fixed it by creating a namespace under root and then syncing. I see that one error likely occurred because it was pruned during the week or more sync.
However, can I delete the VM's from the root? or will they delete it from the Namespace which is nested under root?
And will I be...
Thank you. What would your recommendation be? with the two errors, is there any way to fill them? or signal them to be checked without doing a whole sync?
it's taken a few days to sync almost 2 TB of data.
I have two onsite Proxmox Backup Servers at two locations. They both sync to an offsite remote (pull). Then there is a cloud proxmox backup server Pulls from the offsite remote and both onsite locations
After everything was synced I had a couple backups that had errors saying unable to load blob...
I am wondering how the Kingston DC500M is working for your setup? I have used the Intel D3-4610 and the S4510 in 240GB and 960GB dual raidz setup.
I've also used an ADATA XPG 8200 Pro and the Crucial MX500. The MX500 is certainly wearing down....
I'm trying to understand how a Master Key to Store and Recover Encryption Keys would work.
It almost sounds as if using a Master Key would enable us to use different encryption keys.
Perhaps I have a misunderstanding of the purpose and how this works?
Thank you @dcsapak...
Can we have more than 1 encryption key per node to restore on? I think it worked before, but I have atleast two different encryption keys. I have both on the restore server under /etc/pve/priv/storage/ I get the error that the key is incorrect when trying to restore though.
Thank you in advance.
Does the overwrite the existing encryption Key or does it just add in addition to?
I have one PBS on site at two locations. Can I have more than 1 encryption key.enc on the offsite PVE to test the restores from both remote sites?
Thank you for your help.
I'm having issue here as well. Are we not able to use multiple encryption keys per Proxmox server?
I have two sites each with their own Proxmox Server and Proxmox PBS. Since they're different offices I uses a different encryption key per site.
Each Proxmox PBS is synced to an offsite Server. Now...
