I'm about to look into Ceph storage for my PVE cluster and have some questions I hope you guys can help with :)
I'm having a 3-node PVE3 "cluster" with local disks only. (I use cluster function just to have single web UI)
I'm looking into upgrading to PVE5 and then maybe start looking into...
I have some weird behaviours with PVE 3.3-5.
Occasionally, GUI reports failed/red nodes in our PVE cluster. After some minutes all nodes return to green state again.
This behaviour typically occours while having connection issue with NFS (only used for backup, templates, ISOs).
Have any of you ever seen this error when upgrading Proxmox?

We are still seeing backup issues with Proxmox. Issues only occour on Windows VMs.
Backup completes 100%, no errors. But inside Windows VM we receive an Atapi event ID 9 (The device, \Device\Ide\IdePort0, did not respond within the timeout period.).
And Windows either get unrespondable or...
I have an issue with a new Proxmox installation (laste v3.2).
It's a new server with i7 Haswell CPU and Adaptec 7805 RAID controller.
Both motherboard and RAID controller is updated with latest firmware.

I've funny issue which I think might be easy to solve, but I haven't found a solution yet.
My Proxmox server has 2 NICs. One goes in NET1 and second in NET2.

For exactly a week ago, I started to have some issues with my Proxmox host.
Suddenly SSH connection to the host was slow. It can take up to 30 secs before login. When logged in, everything runs ok.
I have a few webservers running inside KVM. Suddenly they also got problem connecting...
I have a weird problem with one of my CentOS KVM VM.
Suddenly after a reoboot, the boot hangs, and comes up with millions of:

Any idea what could cause this? As far as I know I haven't updated/installed anything since last...
Just installed Proxmox on an "old" ML 350 G5 server with following specs:
- 1600 MHz quad core
- 16GB RAM
- 4 x 300GB SAS, 10k RPM
RAID is configued as RAID 10, and write-cache should be enabled - as far as I know - and there should be battery module installed (and charged)...
Does any have experience setting up >2 DRBD nodes?
I want 3 node primary-primary drbd cluster + replication to 4th node in primary-secondary mode.
Is that possible to do with DRBD? Or should I investigate possibilities with fx Gluster or Sheepdog?
I have some problems installing Proxmox 2.0 on new hardware. During install I get following error message:
Sbin/unconfigured.sh line 103: /usr/bin/checktime: cannot execute binary file
I have of course checked the media - and both files also exist.
Has any of you seen this...
