I made a Debian template. I cloned it using linked clone to create a VM.
I tried to update its memory

Did you try this benchmark?
proxmox-backup-client benchmark --repository root@pam@IP:REMOTE_STORAGE
Mine is showing around 7MB/s (TLS) performance.
1) Is your nginx terminating the TLS?
2) Do you have issue (slow) when restoring?
3) Could you provide instruction on recompiling?
4) Instead of recompiling, could we "pvesm add" with a different port? For example 8017?
[0.0.0.0:8017] -> nginx (stream) proxy -> PBS [localhost:8007]
I am using VPSs. But you can see the iperf, I can get to around 70MB/s in both direction.

If the CPU's single core is not fast enough, it cannot saturate the network interface.
1) Is it correct?
2) How do I tune the TLS speed?
Uploaded 18 chunks in 10 seconds.
No. It was stopped when I performed the backup to PBS.
