Hi,

We have followed the below documentation and installed and setup Avast Business Antivirus for Linux and trail for 30 days license was also applied. Now we could see service working but with mail log we can see the below error message being repeatedly logged.

Do you have some any information regarding the fix for the below error? PMG version is 5.1

Code:
pmgversion

pmg-api/5.1-2/0b56b766 (running kernel: 4.15.18-7-pve)

Hi,

Can you please share upgrade doc? We are unable to find options to upgrade to 5.2-5 from front end upgrade section. Only minor updates are only listed there.

Check your repo settings. If you are a none subscriber you have to switch to the non-subscription repo.

Hi DerDanilo,

I have checked the same. Yes we are on a "none subscriber repo" now. Current server is debian Stretch. Below is my repo setting.
We are not getting any upgrade options for our Mail Gateway 5.1-2 to 5.2-5. Please have look at the screen shots attached.

Code:
cat /etc/apt/sources.list

deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian stretch main contrib

deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian stretch-updates main contrib

# security updates

deb http://security.debian.org stretch/updates main contrib

deb http://download.proxmox.com/debian/pve stretch pve-no-subscription

Hi,

I have managed to solve the problem by changing repo setting.

Code:
deb http://download.proxmox.com/debian/pve stretch pve-no-subscription

Changed to

deb http://download.proxmox.com/debian/pmg stretch pmg-no-subscription

Hi,

I will keep you posted. Old installation was removed during upgrade and i had to reinstall avast again. Now I could see license error. It seems my trial has stopped working. communicating with avast.

Code:

Hi,

This is managed. Sebastian from AVG has provided new trial license for 30 days. Now service is up and running. I will post review after 30 days.
