[SOLVED] Windows server 2019

I downloaded the iso from your last link and installed it successfully, using the Windows 10 drivers.
(VirtIO Scsi, VirtIO nic). Windows 2019 seems quite identical to Win 10. So no problems for Proxmox VE.

Tom I'm sorry but it does not work. I have the Italian version ..

OK. that's interesting. they are selling licenses but haven't released the OS yet :/ https://www.microsoft.com/pricing
Download availability Given they have delayed it due to the 1809 Bugs, I certainly would not want to use it in production.

As far as I understood their statement on the website, they only delayed the evaluation iso, all other isos can be downloaded if you have bought it through their website.

Looks like your ISO is corrupted.? A size of 1571552K looks strange to me, all my downloads are MUCH bigger.

Tom Bingo!!!!!!

You're absolutely right, this is the problem. I have downloaded again and now it works.
I do not understand why it worked anyway even if corrupt.
When I downloaded, he told me that it was completed without errors.
....

Thanks thanks again

Windows Server 2019 is available if you use it on Azure or you purchased the licence through volume licensing. Starting from last week of December you can download the Essential version evals from MS eval center page as well. However, 2019 Standard/Datacenter is not available there. Altough it's usable right now. The problem only reported when you upgraded from 2016 server. Some of my friends and partners run Win2019 and didn't experienced any problems with fresh(!) installs. In-place upgrade can cause troubles.

1) I chose the "SCSI" Disk and not "VirtIO Block".
2) I chose the Driver in VirtIO (virtio-win-0.1.164.iso)
3) I loaded the drivers in the directory "vioscsi/2k16/amd64"
4) Next >> Next >> Finish

So I'm trying this and it doesn't work.

1) I tried both SCSI and VirtIO
2) Only difference here: I use the 0.1.173 drivers (virtio-win-0.1.173.iso). They have 2k19 version. I've tried both 2k16 and 2k19 and none work.
3) I tried forcing to load the driver because when I browse in the directory, Windows doesn't recognize them.

Maybe relevant: I'm using PROXMOX v3.2

Could that be the issue??

You can look at the picture how i solved this issue.
