Server move

I'm fairly new to proxmox. I'm running several ubuntu containers and a windows 10 kvm on proxmox 4.2 on a low power amd build (originally intended for an htpc that I no longer use, used it to try proxmox, loved it, now will re-purpose it as a dedicated pfsense box).

I'm building a dual e5-2670 server to replace the above. My current installation is working very well and I'd like to replicate it exactly onto the new server. I use "bind"ed mounts (to connect to my separate NAS box), so of course I'd need to re-create those on the new server before I move anything.

So, I wanted to make sure I had this sequence right before I make any changes.

First step (of course) will be to image my current installation so I can get back to square one easily if/when I screw it up.

As far as migration:
1) Shutdown all containers/vms
2) Backup all containers/vms to NAS
3) Copy /etc/pve to the NAS
4) Install proxmox on the new server
5) Copy /etc/pve from the old server to the new server
6) Log into the web gui for the new server
7) If bound mounts didn't make it over in /etc/pve, create those
8) Restore the snapshots of the containers/vms on the new server

In theory, it seems like, I'd be back up and running, pve functioning like the older server. I've done alot of searching to find any threads on anyone who has migrated and it seems like the above is what is generally recommended. But I wanted to post this thread to be sure there wasn't anything else I needed to do (or a better way).
