Also excited here for PVE 5.0 and Debian 9. We also need a template for Debian 9 LXC containers. I think if we had the new Debian 9 template we could at least start create new containers and then upgrade to PVE 5.0 when it was ready.
I've just installed Proxmox v5.0 beta 2 and I'm getting a few errors/warnings on boot:
BERT: Can't request iomem region <...-...>.
WARNING: Failed to connect to lvmetad. Falling back to device scanning.
Error: Driver 'pcspkr' is already registered, aborting...

I'm currently running ProxMox v4.4 but I'd like to do a fresh install of ProxMox v5.0 beta. I'd like to backup my LXC container configurations and a few of the actual containers but most of them I will recreate.
Thanks very much for the reply!
It turns out that the problem was the configuration on my EdgeSwitch. Actually, it was configured correctly but I had to remove and re-add my bridge interfaces into the VLAN. It must have been a bug in the Ubiquity firmware which was very frustrating.
I'm not sure when I started having problems, but I haven't changed my network configuration so it might have been a PVE upgrade.
Anyways, I think I have a relatively simple network configuration:
eth0 + eth3 are in an 802.3ad LACP group. (bond0)
eth1 + eth2 are also in an 802.3ad LACP group...
Is it possible to use the PVE v2 API (that's the current one, right?) to open a VNC port that a 3rd party VNC client can connect to?
I'm thinking about creating an iOS application to management PVE servers and use a built-in VNC client to view the consoles, etc.
Also, is it possible to tunnel...
Yes, I have the same problem. None of my containers will start.
Here is a debug log of lxc-start: http://pastebin.com/jkgZtD3v
Here is my config file with some information redacted: http://pastebin.com/HCPGLQG2
I'm trying to use the LXC ID mapping feature but it doesn't appear to be working.
I'm using ZFS on the ProxMox host and then sharing some datasets using LXC bind mounts (ie. the mp0 and mp1 configuration lines).
This works great, but if a container's root user writes a file to the bind mount...
Thanks!
Can anybody verify my interfaces? It's working, but it seems like if I make a change on my physical switch (48-port EdgeSwitch Lite) that I need to reboot ProxMox which doesn't seem correct. I'm also using the built-in Linux bond/bridge instead of OVS but OVS does look interesting and...
How do I configure Proxmox (Debian?) to allow a VLAN tag on my management interface?
For example, I have a dedicated port on my network switch for Proxmox web management. However, this port is tagged with a VLAN tag. However, when I enable tagging on the port it stops responding.
How can I...
