I have installed Ubuntu Server and get the same issue, so it appears to be down to hardware rather software which is unfortunate. I have logged a ticket with AsRock to see if they can suggest anything at all.
When installing proxmox 7.1 onto my system, I only get usage of half of my ram.
The ram shows up in the bios with no issue, I have reseated it and also tried it in a different machine.
dmidecode is attached.
Any suggestions as why this would be?
Looking through the summary half of my ram is showing as swap which I do not want, I only have 4 containers and 3 VM's. I've tried removing swap but it doesn't then go back into normal ram.
Any suggestions

Hi All,
I've just installed Proxmox for the first time.
I am having an issue with datacenter only displaying half of the ram I have installed, I have checked the Bios which is showing correctly, I've even changed the ram out.
I'm not using any storage, are there any suggestions?
Thank you in...
