Sorry think I solved it. Edited /etc/pve/storage.cfg Removed reference to local-lvm Went back and was able to remove the drive through the GUI

Hello, I need to remove an unused disk from the hardware list of a VM, however the underlying local-lvm of this disk has been removed. The error I get from the GUI is - storage 'local-lvm' is not available on node I'm guessing I will need to run some commands but have no idea what :) Thanks...

Thanks for this also @nem I was struggling with these usb adapters but they now seem to be working perfectly after adding what you said. One extra thing I found was to ensure they are connected to Powered usb ports! Mine randomly disconnected until I discovered this. Seems obvious now...
