I've just tried to follow this great tutorial for Proxmox 6.0, but I get errors when compiling the kernel. Has anyone succeeded with this with Proxmox 6.0 already?
So to stay solution oriented, there are the following alternatives:
HP fixes this problem (which is very unlikely since support is quite poor)
Buy new hardware (is there any save composition so stuff like this won't repeat itself?)
stay at v3.3 and miss out on cool new features of v4.x+
I...
Hi there
This weekend I wanted to upgrade my setup to Proxmox v4.3 from v3.3. But I'm having troubles with passing through a PCIe-Controller (SAS, M1015 in IT-Mode).

Hi everyone
I just reinstalled Proxmox and wanted to download some Turnkeys. But they are not listed in the Templates menu (screenshot attached). How can i get more container appliances?
Thanks in advance!
Thank you so far for your input.
I'll try this. And I'll try to add another disk to check if I get the same error again.
I'll report after testing, hope to find time this weekend.
Hello
I'm pretty new to Proxmox, but read about lots of advantages over ESXi, so I had to take a look at it.
So, I installed Proxmox on my HP ML310e with 10GB on a 32GB USB stick (no other drives in the system). Loaded some turnkeys and liked it.
Because I'll need a lot more space, I added a...
Thanks so far. I'm still not sure if I'm understanding you correctly.
I pressed "e" during boot and got the same screen (see screenshot) with usb-stick-only and the usb stick and HDD combo.
On the Command Line (through F2) almost no commands are possible to navigate through the filesystem.
What...
I cant access fstab or grub.cfg in the console where the error is mentioned. Could you please advise where and when I have to access these files?
Shouldn't Proxmox just boot from the stick?:(
