Even if you pull off installing Proxmox on 32bit computers remember... NO M$ will be able to run! (no KVM)
If you want to run some sort of linux in Proxmox 32bit (container only), you would probably be better off installing the distro on the bare metal.
I can't see how it would be possible to...
Yes, the controller is widely supported, but it's NOT real RAID. It's using software raid, in linux you can use the controllers soft/fake RAID with the "dmraid" package.
You would be better off using linux native software raid. (The software in the very small flash area of the very small...
Well, they won't appear by magic :-)
Once you've installed the usb-server and configured which usb devices to share, you need to install a client on your, well client. You can get usb-redirector lite from the same site.
Take care-
Have a look at buildlog.txt and this:

Maybe it helps.
It's been some time but definately:
apt-get install build-essential pve-headers-`uname -r`
then look at this:

the patch for 2.6.31+ is important.
Proxmox har big problems with HiSpeed USB devices. I have had great success with this: http://usb-server.com/usb-server.html
Just install the server part on your host (Proxmox) and there are clients for winlows and linux.
Hope it works for you.
I disagree, virtio works just fine.
Of course you need to install the virtio driver in XP, but that is not the issue here. If it was the virtio that was the problem, XP would start and then fail with a blue screen... "Inacsseible boot device"
This looks more like an MBR problem.
Do this: Boot...
Why not export an nfs share from your proxmox server and mount it on the different kvm's?
...and don't even think about assigning the same physical to different os'es at the same time!!!
What does "uptime" say? Is it more than a week?
Maybe the server rebooted (power failure) and root or data filesystem was corrupted and remounted as "read only". At least that is what your errors are all about.
And while we are at it, how about giving the option of partition sizes. It's a pain to have to boot a live distro to resize the LVM sizes after install. I for one don't need a 15GB swap or a 30 GB root partition and a 800GB data.
With a 1TB disk, i would choose a 2GB swap, 15GB root and 20GB...
