What versions of NFS are supported?

I am currently using FreeNAS to back up VM's to, and this works OK.

However, occasionally I would like to be able to back up VM's to my laptop (they aren't that big) using NFS. I'm using Windows 7 Pro. We have recompiled and made this - http://sourceforge.net/projects/sossnt/ work for us. We have used it on a different type of system (not Proxmox) and it has been pretty solid. I can browse shares, copy files etc from my laptop no problem. It only supports NFS version 2 though. If I try it with Proxmox, I see the export, but when I try and connect and look at the contents, the web interface just hangs. I see in the syslog this: Aug 2 09:23:32 vmserver2 kernel: NFSv2 is broken and not supported - I'm guessing then that NFS v2 is a no go? Or can I override this somewhere? Or will I have to (gulp) pay for a NFS serve for Windows?
