[SOLVED] Templates menu item no longer present.

Hi all. Newb here. Something is amiss on my Proxmox 8.0.4. I have lost the Templates menu entry. It is not present at all. I can look at templates on the command line.
I tried to install one.
# pveam download local debian-11-turnkey-fileserver_17.1-1_amd64.tar.gz
storage 'local' does not support templates

Templates are available
# pveam available
mail proxmox-mailgateway-7.3-standard_7.3-1_amd64.tar.zst
mail proxmox-mailgateway-8.0-standard_8.0-1_amd64.tar.zst
system almalinux-9-default_20221108_amd64.tar.xz
system alpine-3.18-default_20230607_amd64.tar.xz

Other things tried are restarting Proxmox and Clearing the cache on this browser.
Any ideas on what has happened? How can I restore it ?

Hi,

can you please post the output of pveversion -v and cat /etc/pve/storage.cfg?
Did you recently change anything, mess with configs or such?

storage 'local' does not support templates

The CT Templates section is also not shown when Container template is not enabled under Datacenter > Storage > local > Content. Use the pull-down menu to check whether Container template is selected (for local storage).

This is now resolved. This window only showed ISO "Content". Using the drop down menu I was able to add the "Container template". Templates are now showing in the Storage menu area. Many thanks.
