Hello,

I've bought this type of router : https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005...st_main.5.57a25e5bTnqdyM&gatewayAdapt=glo2fra with 4 intel i226 and 2 SFP+ intel 82599ES and connected the fiber on one of them using an ONU.

But no internet whereas it's the same OPNsense config and the same ONU as on my previous config.

Is it normal enp4s0f0 and enp4s0f1 are inactive ?

Did/can you double click on the 10Gbit adapters and set them to Autostart √ and Apply Configuration?

If they won't activate, I suspect you have the same issue that I have with Intel X553 10GbE adapters, it's a kernel bug in 6.x series.

In my case, I installed Proxmox 7.x, upgraded that in-place to 8 but have it still booting on the old 5.x kernel. Not recommended for production, but the only other way to get it working is to compile the out-of-tree driver. (I may try that for a weekend project, but I'm an old-school admin - I want all my drivers working out of the box without jumping through hoops.)

Are you following the docs or any kind of setup guide?
You need to create a bridge using the 10Gbit adapter(s) and assign it an IP address

Bridge created yes with the 2 10Gbit adapters but no ip address assigned, perhaps an explanation :D

I will try as soon as I'm alone and my wife/children don't need internet/tv

Thanks for your help

For my 10Gbit net I went with 172.16.10.x/24 subnet, with DHCP range .20 - .199 ; but obv you should try to match whatever network you have outside of proxmox, including MTU 9000 if you have that enabled everywhere.

And if it's the fiber cable from my ISP Orange FR which comes in it via a Huawei ONU ?

I don't know what to enter for the IP address...

IDK what all that means, but you should be able to login to the router web interface with a standard 1Gig connection (I would hope) or wireless
