Proxmox using in what situation ?

Is Proxmox designed only for lans with - for example Exchange servers or own mail servers !? Or.. can I also use Proxmox for simple lan constructions - like workstation with mail client, getting and seding its mail through the internet providers mail server !?

The proxmox mail gateway can be used only with an own mail server (e.g. Microsoft Exchange, Loutus Domino, different Linux mail systems, and so on...)

Sorry, but if you use an providers mail server, proxmox is not the product you need.
