I have been looking at the maximum number of VMs running on Proxmox. A couple of years ago, there was a forum thread about the maximum number of VMs per Proxmox Server:

Is there still a limit on the HA manager of 3,000 services? What does this mean, in terms of VMs? Would there be a theoritical limit of 3K VMs/Containers across the cluster? Or is this limit related to an individual node?
