Hello,

first, sorry for my english ;)

I have a Proxmox 1.9 Installation with 4 OpenVZ VM with venet interfaces.

The VMs are in the network:

IPs: AAA.BBB.46.196 - AAA.BBB.46.222
Subnet: 255.255.255.224
Gateway: AAA.BBB.46.193

Now i have get a new Network and would create a new VM with an IP in the new Network:

IPs: AAA.BBB.48.132 - AAA.BBB.48.158
Subnet: 255.255.255.224
Gateway: AAA.BBB.48.129

My problem is, i can set thr IP from the new VM to AAA.BBB.48.132 or AAA.BBB.48.133 but then
i cant ping the VM and cant connet to the internet from the VM.

ifconfig on the new vm say:

vnet0:0
inet addr: AAA.BBB.48.132
P-t-P: AAA.BBB.48.132
bcast: 0.0.0.0
Mask: 255.255.255.0

Can somebody help my?

thanks
Nico
