Hello,

We have an HA cluster with two nodes. The vmbr0 interface is bound to the eth2 interface NIC. Such NIC is a Gigabit one and the e1000e driver is correctly working on it. Under some circumstances we are not able to reproduce, the interface speed changes from 1000 mbps to 100 mbps. Is this related to the VMs being started on that node at any time?, some of them have been configured with a 100 mbps virtual NICS. If the host is started with no VMs attached, it runs at 1000 mbps and no drop happens even when migrating 100 mbps machines to i.

Nevertheless, once the host drops to 100 mbps we can not return it to 1000 mpbs even after migrating all the VMs to other node and performing an ifdown/ifup for both vmbr and eth2...

Any clue on what causes this behaviour?.

Thanks in advance.

Jose
