I would imagine this has been asked before, but I did a lot of searching and couldn't find anything about it.

I have Proxmox on a SSD in a NUC and also have added an external SSD via usb-c as a second LVM-Thin. I am planning on moving some of my lxcs and vms over to the external to free up some space on the main drive, but am worried about there being lag. Would I be better off just trying to clone my main disk to the bigger external one and then installing it as the main or am I overthinking this?

I hope this makes sense.
