Hi there, I have the following issue, after doing a clean install on a clean hard drive, then I "mounted" another disk by adding a line directly into /etc/fstab file, then I added it as "storage" using "web panel " and started loading my "containers" and "machines" into it.

The thing is that recently, after many years using proxmox, I realized that all these steps can be done from the "web panel".

I would like to be able to "mount" the disk again as "storage" via the "web panel" but without losing the data, how can I do it?

I tried editing the file /etc/pve/storage.cfg and there appear lines that point to the path where the disk is "mounted", but I can't find which file contains the information that Proxmox uses to mount the disks.

Thank you!

It should be sufficient if you have adapted the storage.cfg accordingly. Then remove your own entries from fstab and simply reboot. Actually it should be mounted by then.
