My Proxmox 1.9 system crashed over the weekend. It's a Quad core with 8GB RAM. When I came in I was unable to do anything with the machine until I did a forced reboot. Once the machine came back up I wasn't able to restart the VM. After some panic searching of the threads I was able to do a qm unlock 1010 then qm start 101 and after about 10 min. I was able to log into the Windows Server 2008 VM normally again. I'm guessing it must have taken so long because the VM was checking the HDD, or what it things is the HDD anyway.
This morning I got an email report with the following so it appears I'm still having problems.
/etc/cron.daily/mlocate:
Warning: /var/lib/mlocate/daily.lock present, not running today.
run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/mlocate exited with return code 1
What is it that I need to do?
