Enterprise repos and CPU microcode insatll

Hi,

We recently deployed an HCI platform and are using the no-subscription repos.

We're planning to move to the enterprise repos in near future.

Does the enterprise repos contains the CPU microcode package or should we grab it from the Debian repo?

Another question, is switching to enterprise repos easy, we don't have a prior experience with them, both for PVE and Ceph?

no, we don't ship microcode packages ourselves at the moment.

yes, you can even do it over the UI (after activating the subscription) it will just take a bit for the enterprise repository to catch up, so you likely won't see updates for a few days..

Yes because it can contain important security and stability fixes, and motherboard BIOS/UEFI is often much slower to update (if ever).
