[SOLVED] Backup and VM Consoles not working when a node in the cluster is offline

Hi guys,

on my home-lab i've create a cluster with two nodes, first one is always active, while the other one is on (with WoL) just when needed (also to save on the bill).
The problem is that when the second node is off, PBS backup and local VM console doesn't work. First one gives "Permission Denied", while the console gives "connection timeout".

Can this be disabled? Like a sort of maintenance mode in VMWare? May be I'm missing some configuration issue..

Just an update.. after chaning quorum to 1, PBS backup started to work

pvecm expected 1

Is this parameter permanent?

ok my fault, as I've understood minimum cluster nodes are 3, otherwise a QDevice is needed, but I cannot do on my own lab, so i've followed this short guide from apalrd and achieved my needs
