Hi All,

I was looking for some advice before I make the full jump to Proxmox for Windows Hyper V. The advice is around the Truenas Scale VM I have been running and migrating its Pool to Proxmox.

So I've been running a few VM's in windows and don't mind losing them and recreating in Proxmox, this also goes for the Truenas as well in regards to its config and apps/dockers I have running. My question I have 4x8tib physical HDD for the Zfz and 2x256gib physical SSD for the Vedv in a Pool together with all my key data/media on. I intend to use this config with Truenas again within Proxmox.

Will this be possible or will I need to copy the data to another drive and then copy back over?

Hope that all makes sense

Rob

u can passthrough a hba controller to your truenas vm and then u ony have to import the pool
