Internet Explorer Support

Hi,

I have just started using a test server that we are using to evaluate Proxmox.

It has mostly been entirely painless and 'just worked'.

I would like to find out whether or not IE 7/8/9/10 are supported and whether or not they will continue to be supported. We have users who would need access from a fairly old XP/IE7 corporate desktop and therefore would need to know how well this is likely to be supported.

I currently cannot use IE8 from a couple of test machines (one XP, one Vista), they both throw up the following error:

Webpage error details
User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.0; WOW64; Trident/4.0; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; MS-RTC LM 8; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E)

I realise I could submit a bug report, or attempt to debug this myself, but if the answer is 'we are phasing out support for these browsers' then I wont waste time looking into this. It is feasible that we could get Firefox installed for some users, but we would need to look at that vs. other (non-Proxmox) solutions that may work out of the box.

In my opinion IE >= 9 is fully supported. I am also quite convinced that IE7 is not supported due to the lack of CSS 3 and an conforming JS engine.
