Hi,
First, sorry for my broken english. I'm french. I'm new user of Proxmox and I'm very pleased with it. But, it's quite difficult to create the network model I want to. Any help would be very appreciated.
I have a server with a network card (OVH datacenter). I have one public IP and I want to make this configuration :
* All my VMs will have a private IP like 192.168.0.xxx (2 VMs Windows + 1 VM unix)
* One of the VM (the unix one) will be the router and will have 2 interfaces - one for the local virtual network (192.168.0.2 for example) and the second one the bridged interface with the public IP (for accessing to Internet).
* All the VMs must reach each other locally of course
* All the VMs that should reach Internet should gothrough the VM router (the unix one)... gateway isn't it ?
How should I configure the host and the VM guest ? Quite difficult...
Until now, only the unix VM works fine : the first interface "vmbr2" brings it local ip (192.168.0.2) and the second one "vmbr0" brings it public IP and Internet access. But how to configure the private VM for :
- reaching each other VMS by private IP
- bringing to, some of them, access to Internet using the Unix VM (as a gateway) ?
Please, ask question if I'm not very clear. Thanks for reading, event if you don't answer ...
Best regards,
