root@build2:~# apt-cache showpkg mdadm
Package: mdadm
Versions:
Reverse Depends:
udev,mdadm 3.0-3
grub-common,mdadm 2.6.7-2
Dependencies:
Provides:
Reverse Provides:
root@build2:~# apt-get install mdadm
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package mdadm is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package 'mdadm' has no installation candidate
