We use Proxmox witn an Intel Modular Server since a while. It is eqipped witch 2x Compute Modules MFS5000SI and 1x MFS5520VI. Each Compute Module has the extra 2 Port Network Card (Mezzaine).
After an Kernel Update in the 1.x Series I detected flapping Network Links in the 2 Bonded Link. After some Searching I get the flapping stopped by resetting the second Switch. This has to be done after each reboot.

Now with the Update to Proxmox v2 I hoped that Problem is gone, but it's still there. My sneaking suspicion was/is the e1000e Nic Kernel Module. I tried the newer Stable Driver Release from http://sourceforge.net/projects/e1000/files/e1000e stable/ 1.10.6 and 1.11.3 both ended in an NULL Pointer Dereference Kernel Panic. To cross check I also tried 1.9.5 from Sourceforge which is similar to the Proxmox Kernel and it succeeds. This Problem only occurs on the MFS5000SI, because the MFS5520VI uses another Driver(igb).

I search a lot through Web, but found no one with the similar Problem.

Has someone get the Version 1.10.6 or 1.11.3 of the e1000e running with pve-kernel-2.6.32-11?
