Mailgateway Configuration Mail queue

Hallo,
can i influnece the Mailqueue -
For example i want to configure that afer 24 hours trying to send - stop trying, delete the mail from queue and tell the Sender that Person or Domain is not reachable.

thats against common rules, I do not suggest to change anything here.

you can set the "Delay Warning Time (hours)", but the queue tries to deliver 7 days.

does the "Delay Warning Time (hours)" mean that the sender will be notified once that the mail delivery is delayed after 4 hours of trying or will he be noticed every 4 hours ...after 4 hours, 8 hours, .... ?

That´s the time after which the sender receives the message headers ofmail that is still queued. (its is NOT sent every 4 hours)
