Proxmox system setup

Hi,
Is it possible to use libvirt with proxmox?
Also, we would love to remove the proxmox frontend and replace it with our python written API server.
Can this be done? We've used your ISO for setup

we do not use libvirt.

if you want to use libvirt and not our frontend I ask myself why do you want to choose Proxmox VE if you do not want to use the core features?

waiting till 2.0 version
now experimenting, thinking about "cloud-like" features
also api backend is really needed. currently pve does not allow restful or other sofisticated things...
we are using it in production for few months and it is stable as it is.
