Should I use backup MX records

I wonder if its a good idea to use backup MX records, because it looks like many spammer sent spam directly to those hosts, thus greylisting does not trigger for those mails.

It think its always a good idea to have backup MX records, although this makes greylisting a bit less effective.

But make sure to add those backup MX hosts to the greylist exclusion list (Configuration/MailProxy/GreylistExcl). This avoid unnecessary delays.
