I followed the how to and setup drbd.

One question.

should a mount show after all is setup. I do not see a mount.

edit: i originally posted this as a KVM installed on drbd was not working. the issue was due to wrong bus type [ i tried to use scsi.. changed to ide and that fixed the kvm . so the drbd is getting used ok.].

Hi
I have the same doubt that you, just configure the system according to wiki .., and with great support and this forum and Dietmar
I see that the storage of promox amount, the drbd device but I see no other way of working on it, for instance through command, if it is mounted
As access to the device from console?
It could mount the device or not, as commonly would be done in / etc / fstab?
In his case as would be the correct way to ride?
Sorry if I am trespassing in my request for help, but the situation created doubt and I do not know how to resolve it.

pvcreate /dev/drbd0
pvscan
vgcreate drbdvg /dev/drbd0

pvscan
PV /dev/sda3 VG vm1lvm lvm2 [455.51 GB / 0 free]
PV /dev/drbd0 VG drbdvg lvm2 [465.74 GB / 465.74 GB free]

mkdir /mnt/drbdmount ?
mount /dev/drbd /mnt/drbdmount ?

From already thank you very much

Please read http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/DRBD

Add the LVM group to the Proxmox VE storage list via web interface
Go to the Proxmox VE web interface to 'Configuration/Storage' and click on the red arrow and select 'Add LVM group'.
You will see the previously created volume group (drbdvg), select this and give a Storage Name (cannot be changed later, so think twice), and enable the sharing by click the 'shared' box.
Then you can select that storage when you create a VM.

Then you can select that storage when you create a VM.

Thank you very much for answering Dietmar

And my question is referred to as access img
created the machine. In the case event that tilde or
break the img: how to recreate o fix it?

Can you work only that device through
the webinterface?. attentive not being mounted not
accessible from the command console. (Linux)

You can only create machines kvm and do not Container Type
(OpenVZ)?

Sorry for my insistent question, but
suddenly turn off a server host and stay image
broken. And I have to recover data from it.

thank you very much again and thanks for your patience

Not sure if I understand that question. You want to know how to repare a failed DRBD device? If so, consult the DRBD manual or contact the DRBD mailing lists.

accessible from the command console. (Linux)

Please read the LVM Howto - everything is accessible from the console (using LVM tools).

Yes. OpenVZ does not support using block devices.
