i have server with no cd-rom...nothing new but i want to put proxmox on it...can i install the iso image of proxmox onto a usb like any other iso and boot to usb to install onto server? seems simple enough i have just never tried it with software like proxmox...any issues i should expect?

no, does not work. you need a cd-rom to install (use a USB cd-rom) or do it like this (not recommended for beginners)

very nice...this will work for me...thanks!
quesiton: is usb install capabilities in the proxmox dev's vision of future releases or is this just not possible?
