Hello there.

I've install proxmox 4 beta to test drive it.

Created one vm (kvm) gave it an iso (centos 6.6) to install and installed it from VNC.
All OK till now.

From console I just upgraded the proxmox system, used apt-get update and apt-get upgrade.
Rebooting,

VM starts, network ok, I can ping it, ssh it, etc, but from inside proxmox I cannot VNC it.

I get error:
nc6: connection timed out
TASK ERROR: command '/bin/nc6 -l -p 5900 -w 10 -e '/usr/sbin/qm vncproxy 101 2>/dev/null'' failed: exit code 1

any thoughts ? Or are there anywhere logs to check them out ?

Maybe I was influenced from EL systems and "yum update" :) Indeed, running dist-upgrade I got

The following NEW packages will be installed:
pve-kernel-4.1.3-1-pve
The following packages will be upgraded:
proxmox-ve pve-manager

I remember with apt-get upgrade a message for those packages something like "will be kept back" (or something like that).

After reboot vnc works. Thanks Thomas!.
