Hi guys,

I'm new in this forum and i need some information about HA.

I have set up a cluster with 3 nodes under proxmox VE 3.4 using ceph/RBD for storage. I put everything in place by following tutorials and set up HA and testing some functions of HA like live migrate, restart computer and HA work.

But is HA restart vm when the supply or network cable are removed brutally?

Yes, as long as fencing devices works.

I allowed the fence_join in "/etc/default/redhat-cluster-pve", restart the cman, join all node in the fence domain but when i remove the supply, my VM don't restart on an other server and i get the message "no route to host (595)".

On my proxmox1 in "/etc/hosts" i wrote this :

192.168.0.100 proxmox1.local.test proxmox1 pvelocalhost
192.168.0.101 proxmox2.local.test proxmox2
192.168.0.102 proxmox3.local.test proxmox3

I did the same with the two other proxmox :

192.168.0.101 proxmox2.local.test proxmox2 pvelocalhost
192.168.0.100 proxmox1.local.test proxmox1
192.168.0.102 proxmox3.local.test proxmox3

192.168.0.102 proxmox3.local.test proxmox3 pvelocalhost
192.168.0.100 proxmox1.local.test proxmox1
192.168.0.101 proxmox2.local.test proxmox2

Do i have to configure the "/etc/pve/cluster.conf" for Fencing?

Best regards,
Realter
